Why we’re building Outpost Assurance
Skilled nursing facilities carry enormous responsibility with a regulatory burden that rarely lets up. We started Outpost Assurance because we saw compliance teams doing critical, high-stakes work with tools that weren’t built for it — generic spreadsheets and shared drives standing in for real workflow software.
Our approach starts with the regulation itself. Every workflow in Outpost Assurance is grounded in the actual federal requirements under 42 CFR Part 483, then shaped by state-specific rules and real conversations with the people who live this every day — DONs, QAPI coordinators, and administrators.
